1. Create a Great Profile
This is your opportunity to really express who you are and what you are looking for in a potential partner. The more information you can complete the better your chances are of attracting someone who has similar interests, beliefs and outlook on life as you do.
Make your profile interesting to read, most people want to read about you in your own words, so ensure you fill this section out as much as you can highlighting your best characteristics. If you find this difficult, why not get a friend to help you out and tell you a bit about yourself and what they like about you the most before you write it.
2. Add a Great Photo
It has been proven that a profile with pictures is viewed more so than those without, therefore if you are serious about meeting someone, then what are you waiting for? Add a photo or two! Remember a picture tells a thousand words, make sure you add a photo that shows the real you and shows you to your full potential, first impressions count.
3. Be Proactive
The key to successfully meeting someone online is to stay proactive, sitting back and resting on your laurels will not get people emailing you unless you look like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie.
