The first impression that you make when dating is vital, and can, make or break your chances of success. Follow these simple tips below or book yourself on a personal image consultation or shopping day to really boost your chances of success. Prepare to be fighting them off left right and centre!

For the Ladies
Men are more receptive to style and image than they are often given credit for. Follow these simple steps to have him enchanted and drooling at your feet:
- Less is more. Just because you are trying to attract someone, don't be tempted to reveal too much flesh as it can look tacky and give off the wrong impression. If you want to flaunt what you've got, go for a low cut top OR a shorter skirt. Never both! Underwear revealing sheer clothes should also be avoided.
- Heels will instantly make you look taller and slimmer - go for as high as you can walk in!
- Always make an effort with your appearance for a date, the 'casual' look will seem like you're not bothered.
- Treat yourself to a new outfit, pair of shoes, or accessory prior to dating - it'll give you a little confidence boost and put a spring in your step.
- Pull everything in with the correct underwear. Remove unsightly bulges and create a clean, smooth and toned silhouette with control underwear. Ensure that you have no VPL or VBL (visible bra line!)
For the Gents
Long gone are the days where you gents can get away with not caring for your appearance. There's no excuse, it's time to smarten up!
- Pay immaculate attention to personal grooming - she WILL notice. Showering and a good scent will take you far, as will polished shoes, fresh breath and clean hair and nails.
- White socks are a passion killer. Fact. Wear matching dark coloured ones instead.
- Unless your date is at a match, leave the football/rugby/basketball shirt where it belongs. In your gym bag.
- Loose the rucksack, and novelty tie. No woman wants to date her little brother.
- If a smart occasion always go for a snappy dark suit with a crumple free shirt. If a more casual occasion go for dark coloured jeans with a jumper and crisp shirt - a winning combination on any man.
