UPDATE: Have you been ripped off by Xfactordates?
Did you buy a franchise that wasn't as it seemed? Did you purchase a ticket for an event that didn't take place? Do you have any more information about this company or it's past directors, Sarah Clarke and Dan Yorke, that you would like exposed? Dating Trail are doing an investigation and need your help. Please get in touch with us via our contact page. Your submission will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
A notice on the Xfactordates homepage states. *** IMPORTANT NOTICE - ALL EVENTS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED UNTIL FUTURE NOTICE - CHECK BACK FOR FURTHER UPDATE SOON *** [Sic]. The telephone numbers listed on the company’s contact pages have also been disconnected.
Despite this notice the Xfactordates website appears to still accept paid online bookings for forthcoming events however Dating Trail would strongly warn consumers against booking tickets with this company until this situation is clarified. It is still unknown if the company has gone bust and if so, how many people will be affected.
This morning Dating Trail made contact with Sarah Clarke, listed as the sole director of XfactorDates.com Limited at Companies House, who denied having any recent involvement in the business.
If you have a forthcoming event booking with Xfactor dates we would advise contacting your bank to discuss options for getting a refund.
If you have anything to add to this story please contact us.

Mr NetDatingBlog is a normal...ish man in his mid 30's, originally hailing from the North, but now firmly based in London. He supports Newcastle United, goes to a lot of gigs and plays guitar terribly.
Between 2004 and the present day he has sporadically been a member of a number of different dating websites, and decided to write a blog entitled Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before to chronicle his experiences with online dating. He set out to highlight the randomness and reality of it all and to convey the highs and lows of this newly socially acceptable phenomenon. He's also still single but ever hopeful.
