All too often we struggle through our ‘single phase’ simply because we’re struck down with shyness, confusion over mixed signals, getting stuck in the ‘friend zone’ or detecting whether someone you fancy feels the same way.
It's easy to get stuck in a rut where every day, every week and sometimes, every month can feel the same. We travel the same way to work, see the same colleagues and friends, go to the same places and talk about the same things – is it any wonder we’re in a rut!! Then, when we do meet someone we like, it can be so loaded with complications and mixed signals, that it's just completely confusing. The great news is that by applying some focus and taking a more strategic approach, you will find that it is worth the effort!
The message is simple. If you improve your confidence and make your life more interesting then others will recognise that you are more interesting and confident, and will find you more attractive. It's not rocket science, but it does require action.
As Valentines Day approaches being single is something we think about a lot. And since we believe that Valentines should be all about singles meeting each other, I've put together a list of New Year flirting tips designed to improve your love life.
My top tips for finding romance in the New Year revolve around getting out there and doing it the old fashioned way – communicating face to face! From mastering the art of the 3 C’s: Cheekiness, Confidence and Charm, and learning how to dish out sizzling eye-contact, great body language and seriously good banter.
The simple truth is you’re more likely to meet your soul mate when you’re both doing the stuff you love, the stuff that comes naturally. Here’s how to start:
To help with making the first move, I'm offering Londoner’s a chance to get together and schmooze the old school way at a pre-Valentine’s Event on February 9 at Callaghan’s Bar in Bloomsbury.
My experience as a host/author/expert and Agony Aunt-with-Attitude has led to London’s first ever Flirt Bar. Maximise your chances of meeting someone special in the lead up to Valentines with my exclusive Flirting Masterclass.
The 3-hour session features a unique and hugely entertaining presentation complete with demonstrations of how to deliver foolproof flirting tips, tricks and techniques.
With a glass of bubbly on arrival and a proper old-school schmoozing session for only £15.00 this is a great opportunity to get out there, get amongst it and get involved with other singles and Dating Trail members.
Enjoy a great night with a live masterclass and great company - and not a couple in sight! Feel free to bring your single friends, or meet some new ones there!
