About this event

Don't miss our summer sailing weekend 2009. The weekend is based on the Solent, widely regarded as one of the UK’s best sailing destinations. Meet in Port Hamble Marina on Friday evening to check out the yachts and stow your luggage. Then it’s off to the nearby Boomerangs bar/restaurant for dinner and drinks.
Take the train to Southampton Airport Parkway (90 minutes from Waterloo) followed by a short taxi drive to the marina or make use of the SpeeedBreaks transfer - times will be releases when train timetables are finalised for 2009. Alternatively the marina does have parking available, please advise us if you will be driving
SpeedBreaks has chartered two prestigous Bavaria yachts for the weekend.
Our skippers are yacht-masters with years of sailing experience so no previous sailing experience is required.
There is every opportunity for people to take...

Now called Adventura - always fun and a great company to deal with.
Harry, London - 20th Apr 2009
Nice people attended the break i went on. Whist I agree with the below review about the the sking lesson or lack of.. I was there for the apres ski anyway and that didn't disapoint!
Stuart. London. - 19th Apr 2009
Just came back from a skiing holiday with them - don't go if you're actually interested in skiing. All they care about is the nightlife. The promised lessons (included in the price) turned out to be basically a guy who spoke no English guiding us across the mountain - fine - but not what I paid for. Food was average. Accommodation very basic - one shower for every 8 people - again ok, but not worth over 800 pounds. The rep was conspicuous by his absence, only materialising in the evening to talk about where to go to get drunk.
