About this event
Come along and enjoy our Speed Encounters event in a great new venue in Aberdeen. Speed Encounters is a very friendly and sociable evening based on a speed dating format.
Conveniently located in the centre of Aberdeen this sociable event will provide the opportunity to meet other singles in Aberdeen in the comfortable surroundings of TPC Conferencing.
From the minute you enter the front door of the venue and come upstairs you will find a warm welcome awaits you in this event which is exclusive to our event. Everyone else you meet will be a fellow speed encounter for the evening and in the same boat as yourself. A comforting thought if you are a bit worried about coming to an event like this on your own.
Over a welcome drink there will be the opportunity for introductions and informal chat before we move through to our tables for the one to one 'encounters'. Speed Encounters is great fun, especially when there are so many new people to meet and new friends to be made - you will soon be in the swing of it.
Our events give you the time to really chat to someone and find out a bit more about them You'll then know, within the 5 or so minutes that you spend with each person whether you would like to see them again - as a friend or even as a possible date. You let us know at the end of the night.
Following an explanation of how the 'encounters' work you will have no concerns other than to make the most of your chance to get to know the person across the table that wee bit better. From experience we know that getting the chat going is rarely a problem!
Then after the speed 'encounters' we will enjoy the chance to socialise again informally before heading home or perhaps heading off with new friends to keep the party going - the choice is yours.
There is nothing further you need to do. We will let you know the next day if somone would like to catch up with you again. Great to know it is all in hand.
The ticket price includes a welcome drink and the chance to try out our online dating format for a whole month, at no further cost.

TPC Conferencing is located in the heart of Aberdeen next door to The Prime Cuts Restaurant and La Bamba, both of which are part of the same group.
TPC Conferencing offers a really different venue in Aberdeen for our events as it is a totally private venue with its own front door, a spacious and welcoming reception and bar area with lovely polished floors and comfy leather sofas. Just off this area are four great meeting rooms that lend themselves well to a range of uses as they flow easily making it easy to mingle and move comfortably throughout the event space. This is an amazingly relaxed and airy space that will make everyone feel immediately at ease.
