About this event
An evening of fun speed dating in the stylish surroundings of Metroploitan bar, Candleriggs,Merchant City. Held in the stylish upstairs Lounge and White Room of Metropolitan which is booked exclusively for our use.

Metropolitan is situated in the heart of the Merchant City in Glasgow, and comprises a stylish cocktail bar and 200 cover restaurant spread over balconies, intimate booths and private dining areas.
We have full access to the stylish Lounge and White room which are both situated upstairs from the main cocktail bar - these are both exclusively ours for each event. The Lounge is a perfect welcome for guests to relax in with a drink before the event starts. The White room with its cream leather booths which look out onto the street below provide an ideal private setting for our speed dating events allowing people to sit and chat in a relaxed and stylish environment.

“Attended an event last week in Newcastle.
Had a really great night - was v nervous about going but felt relaxed as soon as I got there. The bar staff and host were very friendly which made me feel relaxed.
Got 3 matches and have had 2 dates since then so can't be bad! Would recommend date or Ditch to anyone.”
“Wicked night last night! The men were fit haha.
3 guys and 3 girls stayed behind after and had a few drinks, and us 6 are having a speed dating drinking reunion next week so all good!
Well organised and the hostess made me feel very welcome as I came on my own so she introdeuced me to other gilrs there before the night started - made a big difference as I was a bit nervous.

“Women's places overbooked so lots of waiting around for your next "date". The hostess didn't even attempt to mix with vacant females who were sat alone. Late in starting, had to wait in a q to register on arrival, no seat and number was changed after the start of the event as the hostess didn't know how many females she had!”
