Fancy a great night out in York where you’ll meet loads of new people? Our speed dating events in York are great fun. Come along with an open mind, don’t take it too seriously and you will have a brilliant time. Meet new people, expand your network of friends and you could meet someone really special!
How Speed Dating Works...
Please arrive at Tru from 7pm to check in, ready for a prompt 7.30pm start. You’ll be welcomed by our host upon arrival, then invited to the bar to drink, relax and mingle while we register all our guests. Once all guests have arrived, your friendly host will explain how speed dating works and the speed dating will then start. Girls stay seated while gents move every few minutes when a bell rings. You can write on a match sheet whether you want to see each person again, handing this in to your host afterwards. Speed dating usually ends by 10pm, and you’re then welcomed to hang around after for further mingling and flirting. Your mutual matches will be emailed to you after the event, so you can arrange to meet up again with whoever you clicked with. The rest is up to you!
