Fancy a top night out in Telford, having fun and meeting loads of new people? Come speed dating at The White Hart a popular venue, continuing our schedule of singles events in Telford, run by When The Music Stops.
When you arrive you will be greeted by your hosts and then be invited to join a group where you can chat have a chance to play on the Nintendo Wii against other participants. Just a fun way to start the night and relax before we start the Speed Dating. The Speed Dating will start after the quiz.
Our speed dating parties are so much fun, they are worth staying single for! Come along with an open mind, don't take it too seriously and you'll have a great time, meeting loads of single people and maybe someone really special. Remember, always flirt responsibly!
How Speed Dating Works
Please arrive from 7.45pm to check in, ready for a prompt 8.00 start. You'll be welcomed by our host upon arrival, then invited to the bar to drink, relax and mingle while we register all our guests.
Once everyone has arrived, the host will explain how speed dating works and answer any questions. Then the dating begins, with women staying seated while men rotate about every 5 minutes, when a bell rings. Guests mark on a match sheet whether they want to see each person again, handing this in at the end. The speed dating finishes around 10pm, at which point you're invited to stay on afterwards for drinks at the bar, for further mingling and flirting.

An eighteenth century Inn situated on the water front close to The Ironbridge. The White Hart has been around since before The Bridge was built and almost certainly accommodated craftsman and construction workers during the building of the bridge. There is also evidence to suggest that on occasions some of these workmen also used the bar!
There have been stories of ghosts of previous landlords & things that 'go bump in the night' but these are probably old wives tales told by the playful locals in the bar after one too many Pimm's & lemonade White Hart Ironbridge has been transformed into what has become Ironbridge's newest addition to the river front. A long 'L' shaped bar & drinking area, complimented by dining booths & cosy tables.
The restaurant fine dining area features high ceilings and magnificent modern chandeliers. Upstairs however is the stunning, secluded restaurant and seats forty plus, is open everyday for lunch and dinner. It has fantastic views over the River Severn from almost every table.
The White Hart does not have a car park but there is parking on the road in designated areas, or across the bridge in the main car park. To access this car park follow the river road, & follow the signs. Parking is free in Ironbridge in the evenings.
