Quiz Dating events are a hybrid of the pub quiz and speed dating. Introduced by Original Dating in 2007 they have proven to be a very popular format offering a group speed dating format.

Girls are split into teams of around 3 and take their places around the venue. The guys are also split into teams of three and join one of the female teams. The first round of the quiz then begins. At the end of the round the male teams move to the next female team in numerical order. There are normally around five rounds in total and by the end all the male teams have met all the female teams.

Quiz Dating events also make use of post-event online matching.
